Coffee Break

Maria Magdalina Cafe & Plant Shop

Location: Tbilisi, Georgia

Year: 2021

Architects: Konstantin Nikonov, Maria Oleynikova

Maria Magdalena cafe is a unique place, beautifully fitting into the green area making it hidden from the city noise, yet easily accessible to visitors.

The key focus was making the border between the cafe premises and the environment almost imperceptible. This was achieved through the use of natural materials and shades, rattan furniture and lamps, large areas of glazing, and preserving the old brickwork where possible.
